Starting from the crystal-clear Lago di Molveno, athletes from as far afield as New Zealand and Peru will traverse the Cima S. Maria and Cima di Campa mountains before reaching the expansive Passo del Grosté plateau hitting a max altitude of 2,546m above sea level. They’ll pass by several unique mountaineering huts before descending back to the lake, all with the aim of being crowned the XTERRA European Trail Run Champion.
