Int his second offering he pushes the boundaries of what black metal can encompass, diving deeper into uncharted sonic territories, fusing a chaotic assortment of styles diluted in the black metal, from ambient to dungeon synth, electronic, noise or even faint echoes of post punk. These disparate elements swirl together in an unpredictable and often volatile mixture, creating a listening experience that feels quite unique but also deeply emotive.

Unlike Orman’s debut, where a strong punk foundation served as the unifying force, “Demo II” sheds much of that in favour of something more intricate and abstract. The lo-fi fog remains, but it is now woven with shimmering synth passages and electronic layers that occasionally flirt with post punk and other experimental elements. These influences emerge subtly, sometimes buried under a haze of distortion or tethered to fleeting moments of melody that feel like rays of light piercing through a stormy sky.
This wider range of sonic texture reflects a deliberate shift in artistic vision, maybe not simply a rejection of black metal orthodoxy, but a reinvention. There is a deliberate unpredictability in the way the record evolves from one moment to the next, refusing to settle into a single form, as the frequent detours into ambient, almost immiscible noise, and melancholic synth tones suggest a yearning for something beyond the bleak confines of traditional black metal rigidity. Despite its profuse harshness, ii still carries a strangely uplifting flavour, as if hope is struggling to surface beneath a shadowy veil.
