After breaching the walls of Castle Kaneda, clearing Mongol defenses, and opening the way forward, Jin finally faces a shocking sight inside the fortress: Ryuzo — his former ally — has turned against him.

Once a brother in arms, Ryuzo now stands with blade drawn, having betrayed Jin and aligned himself with the Mongol cause for his own desperate reasons. A duel of fate and fury ignites as Jin clashes with Ryuzo — a battle that tests both strength and the weight of their shared past.

With Ryuzo defeated and the Mongol guards rallied by his betrayal cut down, Jin pushes onward toward the inner keep where Lord Shimura remains captive. Every step deeper into the fortress brings heavier resistance, and every blade edge draws Jin closer to his uncle’s rescue — and the heart of the Mongol stronghold itself.
