About the Mantras:
These 3 Mantras are taken from Rigveda; Mandala-1, Sukta-114, Mantras; 8 and 10. Mandala-2, Sukta-33, Mantra; 11.
These Mantras also appears in Krishna Yajurveda – Sri Rudram with some modification.

We have given the text in Sanskrit with svara markings as per Saakala Saakha of Rig Veda.

A small correction at 10:10. The text should be मु॒ग्रम्

Meaning of these Mantras:
Mantra 1. O Rudra; Lord of mercy and justice, Dont strike our children. Dont make our life short. Dont kill our cows and horses. If you ever feel angry for our sins; please forgive us. We pray you, not to strike our brave. With our folded hands raised in prayer with holy offerings, we always invoke you and pray for kindness and grace.

Mantra 2. O Lord of Protection and shelter of the brave; let the butcher of cows and murderer of men be off by your protection and grace. Let the peace and joy of your blessings be with us. Be kind and gracious to us. Speak to us in the heart from above. O Lord of the world; give us peace and joy on earth, and the ultimate freedom after life.

Mantra 3. O Rudra, scourge of the evil and the wicked, praise and cherish the eminent young man of action seated in the war chariot, fearful as a tiger, destroyer of enemies and illustrious of merit. Be kind and gracious to the admirer and worshipper, who sings in praise of you. Let your forces throw off from us - who are ungrateful and negative.
