How to make a cute homemade fox bowl with air dry clay

Описание: Learn how to make an easy handmade fox bowl using air dry clay! I will be specifically using Glorex Keramiplast, but you can also use other airy dry clay brands or even polymer clay. You can also use this technique to many any other kind of animal such a bear, mouse, cat, etc.

I really like this clay so far compared to other air dry clays I’ve used. I’ve found it easy to use since it doesn’t dry out quickly while working with it, and also doesn’t shrink much or crack while drying. It can also be dried quickly in the oven at 150°C (300°F) if you want to speed up the process.

This pot can be used for plants, trinkets or jewelry. It is NOT food safe! DO NOT USE IT FOR FOOD!

00:10 — 1. Create the base shape of bowl
01:15 — 2. Allow to dry overnight or bake at 150°C for 30min (may need longer if you are making a bigger pot)
01:20 — 3. Fill in any cracks
01:52 — 4. Add ears, tails, etc of animal
02:19 — 5. Allow to dry completely or bake at 150°C for 60min
02:22 — 6. Sand out imperfections
02:46 — 7. (OPTIONAL) - Paint gesso layer
03:12 — 8. Paint details with acrylic paints
03:38 — 9. Varnish
03:53 — 10. Done!

Various wooden clay tools
Golden gesso paint primer
