Day by day, God's Own Country is turning into a barren land. Three years back, Parassala constituency launched a flagship project to reclaim the greenery of our state. This initiative organised Department of Agriculture together with and Haritha Kerala Mission and Panchayats, and under the able leadership of C.K Hareendran(MLA Parassala) has crossed the first milestone. Last September Honorable Chief Minister, Shri.Pinarayi Vijayan has declared Parassala constituency "Tharishurahita Mandalam - Constituency Free of Barren Land".
