I didn't include a story at the start, despite there being an abundance with morals like "be careful what you wish for" (or about moving on) since the video was so short.
The event is the shortest in the game by far, it doesn't have a single fight, but I remembered it as my favorite. It wasn't as good as I remembered, but I still liked it and didn't want to
squeeze it together with another scenario in one video, even if a pompeii double episode is an interesting concept.
The thumbnail title is stolen from Viktor Frankl's "Man's search for meaning", which I didn't cover the similarities to, but I still highly recommend reading it.
Had I had the time and rights, I would have read out the whole thing at the start.
I also didn't elaborate on the visions the statues show you, but I really wanted this video to feel short and sweet like the original experience.
Basically it can be interpreted as a soul or as I will call it in the next episode "divine spark", but it could also be seen as part of the curse in order to further drive the survivor into despair.
There's no real conclusion on this and visions are conveniently used whenever appropriate throughout the game,
so while this is different from visions the hero sporadically receives, I think I'm only going to discuss the 2 in tandem if at all.
