Описание: 2002 Pontiac Grand AM all of a sudden won't start, just cranks. The Security Light is ON. It will start via the key FOB. I ended up using the key relearn process, which may only be a temporary fix. I reference another video where they bypass the security system by soldering in a 2.2k ohm resistor. It may also be a failing lock cylinder/pass key system, which is a recall item. You can replace the lock cylinder yourself, and have it reworked at a lock shop so the original keys work if you like, or live with one key for the door/trunk and another for the ignition.
