Sonny joined the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra in Lafayette as a special guest. “Tackling Bach on slide guitar was both a humbling and thrilling experience,” he says. “The beautiful melodies were very difficult to achieve and I had to really work at it, but it’s something I’ve always wanted to do. In fact I’ve heard that sound in my head for a long time and I’m grateful to Maestro Marius Smolij for giving me a chance to explore something I’ve wanted to for a long time.”
