In this video, I show how to easily bulk rename upgrade your projects from one year version to another (in this case 2020 to 2021). For this workflow I'm using ETransmit, a Revit tool that allows you to package and submit entire Revit projects to other teams. I've also tried a Dynamo script for this workflow and the advantage of using ETransmit is the stability and the fact that linked models are automatically repathed to the newly designated location. Plus Etrasmit has an easy interface and comes with Revit so it's easy to share its functionality with your team.
