CALAX Update - CALAX Kawit Viaduct Extension Girder Installation Complete! (January - February 2026)

Описание: This video documents the entire girder installation activity for the Cavite - Laguna Expressway (CALAX) Kawit Viaduct Extension (KVE), carried out from January 10 to the early morning of February 1, 2026.

The CALAX KVE forms part of the critical link connecting the CALAX Kawit Interchange to CCLINK. While the completion of this activity marks the conclusion of the KVE viaduct girder works, the Expressway Bridge 1A (EB1A) and the embankment section still need to be completed to fully establish the connection between CCLINK and the CALAX Kawit Interchange.

All activities and work schedules were properly coordinated with the relevant LGUs and government agencies, with the necessary permits secured. Work was conducted within the approved window of 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM.

The KVE consists of approximately five to six spans, including the span that connects to Pier 21 of CCLINK. This video highlights the dedication, coordination, and hard work of the contractor and construction teams in completing this section of the CALAX Kawit Extension, contributing to the faster turnover and eventual opening of CCLINK up to the CALAX Kawit Interchange.
