Part 31 - BN industrial switching in Interbay using an HO Rapido SW-1200 loco and eight tank cars

Описание: Burr Stewart takes a new Rapido SW-1200 out for a spin to deliver eight tank cars to their destinations along the backdrop behind the Interbay yard in Seattle, enjoying and narrating every step on the way. This industrial switching action is typical of some of the "work" that takes place during model railroad operating session. In this case, the industrial switching work was leftover after three marathon sessions during "SoundRails", described in Burr's previous three videos, ran out of time to complete it. After all that excitement, the layout is oddly quiet, except for the switch engine.

The HO scale model railroad underneath this operation is Burr Stewart's "Burrlington Northern" model railroad layout, featured in many other videos on this YouTube channel @Burr Stewart , as well as his blog https://burrlingtonnorthern.blogspot.com. The train layout is set in the Seattle region in 1973, three years after the 1970 corporate merger that created the Burlington Northern (BN) Railroad out of the Great Northern (GN), Northern Pacific (NP), Burlington Route (CB&Q) and the Spokane, Portland and Seattle (SP&S) railroads. Playing smaller roles on the layout are the three-foot narrow gage (HOn3) D&RGW "west coast extension", the Milwaukee Road (MILW)'s western extension and the Union Pacific (UP). He took the video with an iPhone X and an AKASO action cam, and edited it in iMovie and Photoshop on a MacBook Pro.
