इस सत्र में विद्यार्थी रोज़मर्रा की गोल वस्तुओं और गतिविधियों के माध्यम से वृत के परिघ और क्षेत्रफल को खुद खोजकर समझेंगे। सूत्र याद करने के बजाय बच्चे मापन, प्रयोग और अवलोकन से वृत के नियमों तक स्वयं पहुँचेंगे।

1 पेंसिल
2 रंगीन पेपर
1 स्केच पेन
1 चांदा ( Protractor )
1 परकार' या 'वृत्त मापी
10 - 1 या 2 रूपये के सिक्के
