Military coordination: The operation showcased coordination between India's three armed services and leveraged advanced military technologies, including precision long-range artillery, loitering munitions, and potentially Rafale jets and BrahMos missiles. 

Aftermath and impact

Ceasefire: A ceasefire was declared after communication between the Director Generals of Military Operations (DGMOs) of India and Pakistan.

Escalation and de-escalation: While India framed the operation as non-escalatory, some reports indicated that subsequent cross-border strikes occurred, with both sides carrying out attacks on military bases in the following days.

Legacy: Operation Sindoor was hailed by some Indian officials as a "golden chapter" in the country's fight against terrorism. The success of the coordinated tri-service effort was noted by officials, and lessons from the operation were reportedly integrated into educational materials in India.
