Radisson Srinagar Presidential Suite, Shikara ride on the Dal in Kashmir | Vlog 20

Описание: We visited Kashmir in Winter, and as they say, we experienced Kashmir in all its winter glory. We took a flight from Kolkata that landed us in Srinagar after 4.5 hours. Once we reached there, we understood that our prepaid mobile phones stopped working. Only our postpaid mobile was still working. We checked ourselves into Radisson Srinagar, where a beautiful presidential suite was waiting for our arrival. We enjoyed the hotel thoroughly and recorded it for you to understand what luxury means at Radisson Srinagar. The first day, we needed some time to acclimatize with the chilled weather. In the evening, we went to the Dal lake ghats and had some street foods. I also bought a Kashmiri dress from Radisson Srinagar Souvenier shop. Next day, after breakfast we checked out from Radisson Srinagar and Checked into Batra hotel opposite Krishna Dhaba. In my next video, I will cover more of the next hotel. But after checking in the new hotel, we did not waste any time and went out on an auto ride to the Dal lake. The Auto driver was very kind to take some nice pictures of us. After which, we booked one shikara ride for ourselves. For the next 2.5 hours, we were taken through a vast lake on a small hand made boat, while listening to the shikarawalah's description of various viewing points. One key view point in middle of Dal lake is the Char Chinar island, where there are four large chinar trees placed on four corners of an island. This was a great place to spend time and we took some nice photos of ourselves, dressed in Kashmiri attire. Next major attraction was the Meena Bazar which is a floating market in Dal lake. I did purchase some items to support the local economy and frankly because the items were too good to be passed on. Later we returned to hotel.
