It was on this day, six years ago, Corey Haim passed away. The world lost a talented actor, but more importantly a beloved person. It’s easy for us to forget that people were real. Time can dull an image, leaving behind only fragments of what once was. But it is the loving memories that are left behind that become proof of what truly was. That they were here, and for a brief amount of time they were real. They were loved and are still loved.
No life can go unmarked. We all have our joys and our sorrows. What is important to remember about Corey Haim is that despite the ghosts he carried, he always tried to be a better person, not just for himself, but for those who he cared about. Although his life on this earth has passed, we can carry on his relentlessness spirit by cherishing each day we have.
