Within any business, sets of rules define how things work. For example,
if a customer buys three shirts, he gets a 10% discount. Or someone must have a certain income to buy a house.
A business rule engine is a software tool that helps define, store, manage and apply those rules in a central location.
Writing the rules directly into software code is complex and high-maintenance. That's why Rulecube is low-code.
With Rulecube's Business Rule Engine, you also define the process or workflow within which decisions are made and control integration with the systems - data sources and software programs - within which those decisions and process steps are to be taken.
This way you can easily add, change or delete rules without messing with the company's actual software.
