⚔️ WHAT HAPPENS IN EPISODE 4:
The episode opens with Maki Zenin recovering after being ambushed by her father, Ogi Zenin. He reveals he's always resented her and her twin sister Mai.
Maki finds Mai bleeding out. In her final moments, Mai uses her Construction technique one last time—creating a powerful cursed tool for Maki. Mai sacrifices herself, and her death fully awakens Maki's Heavenly Restriction. Maki loses the last traces of her cursed energy and becomes a physical powerhouse.
What follows is a rampage. Maki takes on the entire Zenin clan alone. The fight against the Kukuru Unit is animated in monochrome with splashes of red blood—visually stunning and brutally cathartic.
Maki confronts Naoya Zenin, the arrogant speedster who always looked down on her. She shatters his face in slow motion, complete with a graphic X-ray of his jaw breaking.
She doesn't stop. Maki confronts her abusive mother and finishes off the clan leadership. The episode ends with the Zenin clan erased from the Big Three Families—their legacy of cruelty finally ended by the woman they tried to suppress.
