Описание: This is Part 2 in a 4 Part series on "Gait Disturbance & Assistive Devices." In this video we review the basis of the gait cycle to understand disturbances of normal gait that occur in both the stance and swing phases of gait. Then, we review the named gait signs - including those described in the AMA Guides ("antalgic gait" and "trendelenberg gait." Finally, we provide a list of observations to guide you through the gait analysis and to illustrate these principles we observe normal gait from the front and the side, and then we contrast that with pathologic gait - again from the front and from the side.
