Today I tried something a little different in Pauper: a mix between Mono Black Devotion and Golgari Gardens. We’re still playing the usual control game, but this time we’re finishing things off with Gray Merchant of Asphodel, which can drain for a massive chunk of life out of nowhere.
The Khalni Gardens make the deck feel way more consistent, especially when paired with all the card draw. Honestly, this deck has answers for almost everything and it felt super solid throughout the matches.
