Welcome to Robins Bus Videos in 2026. In this video you will get to see what it's like as a group of lads and myself take an Optare Solo for some needed parts at the bus scrapyard.
This Solo was operated in South Yorkshire by Sheffield Community Transport from 2005 - 2019 although spent its remainder of service work at Gem Mini Travel up until 2025. A group of lads who were keen on buying an Optare Solo for preservation take this bus onto its new chapter - which in this video you can see the first few steps into its restoration process.
