The whirlwind of publicity surrounding Kandie's blind audition appearance and her duet with Umaria and the Voice team on the Christmas Day special has allowed her to become a popular feature in Sri Lankan national newspapers and magazines and she is now eagerly anticipating her next television appearance on the Sirasa TV at the end of January for the battle rounds

Kandie King is working on an album of popular Singhalese songs featuring her original English lyrics. Tracks include 'Pem Kekula (පෙම් කැකුළ)', Nilwan Muhudu Theere (නිල්වන් මුහුදු තීරේ) and 'Nadee Ganga Tharanaye (නදී ගංගා තරණයේ)’ which she is currently performing live at venues and events around Colombo and Negombo.
