It also considers the profound implications AI holds for nursing education—how we teach and what we teach in an increasingly digital environment. Key challenges such as digital literacy gaps, algorithmic bias, and the risk of dehumanized care will be discussed. Finally, the session will highlight new directions in nursing research and leadership that are emerging in response to AI, emphasizing the need for critical, interdisciplinary approaches that centre equity, ethics, and the unique contributions of nursing to health systems.
