On 9 March 2017 EIDD and BEDA organised the "Design for All" workshop as part of the 10th International Biennale de Design of Cité du Design’s event. A 1-day course delivered by the Innovation for All programme by Design and Architecture Norway and The Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design (HHCD).
The workshop had both classroom learning and exercises with experiential elements and practical lessons based in ‘real world’ contexts. It balances information with inspiration, aiming to
create effective knowledge transfer and empower people to use design more effectively within their organisations. A key element is to give EIDD/BEDA participants the confidence and the material to become design ambassadors and use design thinking effectively within their daily practice.
The Design for All Workshop hosted by BEDA and EIDD is part of the Design Europe 2021 project, co-funded by the Creative
Europe programme of the European Union. Design Europe 2021 – Design for Cultural and Creative Growth focuses on strengthening
the design sector of Europe.
