This is the second installment of a series featuring the dutch Nederbeat band The Kliek.
The Kliek existed from 1987 to 1995, in three different line-ups.
This video shows the 2nd line-up, 1989-1993.
Besides frequenting all dutch clubs many times over, they intensively toured many countries and conquered the crowds with their wild and action packed enthousiastic stage shows: Belgium, Germany, Austria, France, Spain and even Russia.
In 1995, the band fell apart due to the resurgence of surf music and the subsequent popularity of The Treble Spankers.
The Kliek were:
Robert Müter, vocals;
Marcel Kruup, guitar, vocals;
Gert Veltink, bass guitar, vocals;
Zjenja Guberman, drums
Trusty road crew:
Maarten Heijblok, driver and technician
Herman Maat, road manager
