Описание: Allegedly founded by two pilgrims who returned to Italy from Jerusalem with a piece of the Holy Sepulcher (“San Sepolcro” in Italian), the Tuscan town of Sansepolcro is charming. Its most famous citizen was the great Renaissance painter Piero della Francesca, whose celebrated “Madonna della Misericordia” and “Resurrection” can be seen in the town’s Civic Museum!
