In submission 25 of the Piano Challenge 2024, I'm playing "Love Story" by Francis Lai from the iconic 1970s movie "Love Story."

The arrangement is from the piano book "Tastenträume - Wunschmelodien 2" by Anne Terzibaschitsch. I'm using the new Bösendorfer VC warm piano sound from the Pianoteq 8.3 software. Initially, I found the left-hand accompaniment for the main theme a bit strange and reminiscent of Georges Bizet's Carmen - "L'amour est un oiseau rebelle," which was a bit irritating at first. However, I've grown to appreciate it and am pleased with the final result.

The images in the video are crafted to complement the music, creating a visual storyline inspired by the classic film. Follow the journey of a young couple through moments of joy, conflict, perseverance, and profound love.

This performance was played on my Roland RD 2000 using the new Bösendorfer VC warm sound from Pianoteq 8.3. I'm using the foot pedal to turn pages with the midikey2key software. Visual storytelling was made possible by ChatGPT and DALLE.
