Preliminary investigation has revealed that the accused were bringing MD drugs in liquid form from outside and drying them in this godown, making powder and packing them and supplying them to different places... During this operation, the police seized 2.37 kg of mephedrone drugs with a market value of more than Rs 72 lakh from the godown, while another quantity of more than 500 grams was also seized.

વાપીમાં ચાલતા નશાના કાળા કારોબારનો પોલીસે પર્દાફાશ કર્યો છે...કુંતા ગામે આવેલા એક ભંગારના ગોડાઉનમાં ચાલતા ડ્રગ્સ રેકેટ ઝડપાતા ખળભળાટ મચી જવા પામ્યો છે,,,ભંગારના ગોડાઉનમાં જ્યારે ગુજરાત એટીએસ અને વલસાડ એસઓજીની ટીમો સંયુક્ત રીતે ત્રાટકી, ત્યારે ત્યાંનો નઝારો જોઈને અધિકારીઓ પણ દંગ રહી ગયા હતા... આરોપીઓ અહીં ભંગારના બિઝનેસની આડમાં હકીકતમાં ડ્રગ્સ બનાવવાનું અને સપ્લાય કરવાનું મોટું રેકેટ ચલાવી રહ્યા હતા... પ્રાથમિક તપાસમાં બહાર આવ્યું છે કે, આરોપીઓ બહારથી પ્રવાહી ફોર્મમાં એમડી ડ્રગ્સ લાવતા હતા અને આ ગોડાઉનમાં તેને સૂકવી, તેનો પાવડર બનાવી અને પેકિંગ કરીને અલગ-અલગ જગ્યાએ સપ્લાય કરતા હતા...પોલીસે આ ઓપરેશન દરમિયાન ગોડાઉનમાંથી આશરે 72 લાખથી વધુની બજાર કિંમત ધરાવતું 2.37 કિલો જેટલું મેફેડ્રોન ડ્રગ્સ જપ્ત કર્યું છે, જ્યારે 500 ગ્રામથી વધુનો અન્ય જથ્થો પણ કબજે લેવાયો છે. n18v
