'We recorded a lot of the music for Interview With The Vampire at the gorgeous @synchronstage in Vienna, under the baton of the brilliant @bernhardvoss. Here's "The Drum Was My Heart", from the end of the first episode.

'This was recorded at our first session together, back in July. Bobak Lotfipour and Shruti Kumar
( @tamingoftheshruti, @bobak____) and I were working nonstop on the music for the show back then. So many late, late nights...we would never have been ready in time without all the session prep help we got from @vordo (one of the 984 things he was doing for IWTV back then).

'I never know what to expect, working with a new orchestra - new stage, new players, new conductor, new engineers. Vienna was a total dream for us, for this show. I wish I could have been there in person to watch them make the magic they made.

'The orchestra recording was masterfully engineered by @bernd_mazagg, music mixed by best of the best Danny Reisch / @gooddannys, soundtrack out now on @milanrecords and @sonymusicsoundtracks.'
