After the success of the 40th Anniversary webinar series in 2022, the TGfU SIG has re-launched a new series of professional development webinars. The intention of the webinars is to discuss key models, topics and concepts within the game-based approaches (GBA) field. We will hear from students, teachers, coaches and academics from around the world exploring their research and practice.
Hosted by: Dr Ellen Gambles (University of Sunderland, UK and TGfU SIG Treasurer and Communications Coordinator)
Speaker: Ashley Gumbrell (St Mary’s University, UK)
Content: The webinar will be an exploration of authentic assessments and teaching strategies within higher education that are underpinned by game-based approaches and pedagogies to coaching.
