Hey everyone — it’s Leaflit. In this video I’m debating NyaraVT about some of the most controversial topics today: men in women’s bathrooms, men in women’s sports, medical care for minors, the definition of woman and more. I come in strong: I believe in protecting women’s spaces, fairness in women’s sports, and caution when it comes to minors undergoing irreversible procedures.

Here’s what I argue — and why I think we need to draw clear lines:

Why women’s bathrooms and female-only spaces matter: A woman using a women-only bathroom expects safety and privacy. If people men are allowed simply based on gender identity, that compromises safety and undermines the purpose of sex‐segregated spaces. I believe privacy and comfort for women should be respected.

On women’s sports — fairness and biology matter: Sports separated by sex aren’t arbitrary. Studies show that physiological differences — strength, muscle mass, bone density — often remain even after hormone therapy. Allowing males to compete against women undercuts fairness and undermines opportunities for women.

Medical care for minors (gender-affirming treatment) — too risky: Giving minors access to hormone therapy or surgical transition is a huge decision with long-term consequences. Many jurisdictions are now banning or restricting such care for minors on that basis. I argue that children deserve protection — not experimental medical protocols, especially on irreversible issues.

Consistency in defining “woman” matters: If we redefine “woman” to mean “anyone who self-identifies,” then sports, single-sex spaces, women’s shelters, and female-only protections become meaningless. I believe biological sex matters for certain protections — and that’s not hate, that’s logic.

Why this isn’t “hate” — it’s protection: I’m not saying trans people don’t deserve respect or compassion. But respecting someone’s identity doesn’t mean we must dismantle every structure designed for biological women. There must be balance, not wholesale erasure.

I challenge NyaraVT’s arguments — because I believe good intentions should never erase fairness or safety. If a society wants both inclusion and protection for women & girls, then we must draw boundaries — not pretend biology doesn’t matter.
