The 4.6 km Ellerton Drive Extension (Queanbeyan Bypass) provides an alternative route around the Queanbeyan CBD. The 80 km/h road features a new high-level bridge over the Queanbeyan River and allows motorists to avoid up to 19 intersections and 3 sets of traffic lights.
