Our Wayanad trip took an unexpected turn 😳
After reaching our room late at night, we went out to get dinner and only then discovered that a bandh (shutdown) was announced for the next day. No tourist vehicles would be allowed to move within Wayanad 😱
Since the property owner had not informed us earlier, we had to make a quick decision — either leave immediately at night or escape before 6 AM. Riding overnight was risky, so we planned an early morning departure.
But even that wasn’t easy… 🚫
Several people stopped us near the border, trying to prevent vehicles from leaving. After a tense moment, we managed to cross into Tamil Nadu.
What followed was absolutely magical 🌄
A peaceful sunrise ride through misty hills, endless tea estates, and cool morning air — turning a stressful situation into one of the most beautiful rides of our trip ❤️
