A first time for everything this month: my first video on this channel using a pick on the bass! Show your disgust below in the comments xD
This is my bass cover of Going Underground by The Jam, their bassist Bruce Foxton really brings bass to the forefront in all he does and this bassline really captures the essence of good punk bass guitar playing.
I used my trusty Fender Custom Shop 1964 Jazz Bass with the neck pick up engaged and the tone on full. A lot of my bass growl and thump comes from the Cranborne Audio EC-1 Preamp along with the Darkglass Vintage Deluxe pedal.
