To unify R&D processes, Sandvik Coromant selected the application SAP Product Lifecycle Management | SAP PLM and the integration tool SAP Engineering Control Center | SAP ECTR as important pillars of their digitalization strategy.

With DSC Software AG as their companion for integrative PLM, a system was established that enables the digital representation of products, assets, processes, and systems. Using SAP ECTR, they could integrate their distributed product development in one platform running on SAP software and also managed to uniform processes for manufacturing data across the entire company.
