Medigadda Barrage Restoration Plan | Telangana Govt Focus on Scientific Survey

Описание: The Telangana government has decided to undertake the restoration works of the Medigadda, Annaram, and Sundilla barrages, which are part of the Kaleshwaram project, using a scientific and transparent approach.

As part of the plan, advanced techniques such as GPR scanning, drone surveys, borehole analysis, and geotechnical and geophysical tests will be conducted to assess the strength of the soil and existing structures.

The government aims to complete all technical assessments before the monsoon season, prepare detailed designs, and then proceed with the restoration works.

Against this backdrop, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s visit to Medigadda today has gained significant importance, highlighting the government’s focus on the project’s structural stability and long-term sustainability.
