At the 40th Pastoral Anniversary Banquet of Dr. Warren Joseph Ray, Jr., Pastor of Second Free Mission Baptist Church of Carrollton in New Orleans, LA., Dr. Jones-Francis performed a moving medley of hymns of inspiration in honor of Dr. Ray.
Dr. Jones-Francis, a highly sought-after spinto-soprano, is on the faculty of Nicholls State University and has performed and toured extensively in the United States and abroad.
Dr. Ray, in addition to serving as Pastor at Second Free Mission, is on the faculty of Xavier University of Louisiana as Professor of Organic Chemistry for over 30 years.
Collaborating with Dr. Jones-Francis is pianist, arranger and composer, Mr. E.Dwight Franklin. Franklin is a renowned musician from the city of New Orleans
