Описание: Moving to Dresden, even for a short period of time, was something I did without really knowing what to expect. Coming from a megacity like İstanbul, I imagined it would feel more like a quiet town… but the city surprised me in so many ways.

In this video I’m sharing a bit about what life in Dresden has been like for me. The city itself, the social life, and the friendships that somehow formed along the way. From walking through the historical streets of Altstadt to late nights in Neustadt, summer festivals, museum nights, and simple moments by the Elbe. 🌉

But more than anything, this video is about the people I met here. Living abroad means constantly meeting new people from all over the world, forming friendships that sometimes last only a semester — but still leave a lasting mark on you.

Dresden turned out to be much more than just a city I moved to. For a while, it became a small world full of unexpected memories, friendships, and moments I know I’ll always look back on. ✨

Kısa süreliğine de olsa Dresden’e taşınmak aslında neyle karşılaşacağımı çok da bilmeden verdiğim bir karardı. İstanbul gibi bir mega şehirden gelince buranın daha çok küçük ve sakin bir yer olacağını düşünmüştüm… ama şehir beni pek çok açıdan şaşırttı.

Bu videoda Dresden’deki hayatımın birazını paylaşıyorum. Şehrin kendisini, sosyal hayatı ve burada bir şekilde oluşan arkadaşlıkları... Altstadt’ın tarihi sokaklarında yürümekten Neustadt’ta geçen gecelere, yaz festivallerinden müze gecelerine ve Elbe kıyısındaki küçük anlara kadar. 🌷🚤

Ama bu video en çok burada tanıştığım insanlarla ilgili. Yurt dışında yaşamak, dünyanın farklı yerlerinden insanlarla tanışmak ve bazen sadece bir dönem süren ama yine de insanın kalbinde iz bırakan arkadaşlıklar kurmak demek.

Dresden benim için sadece taşındığım bir şehir olmaktan çok daha fazlasına dönüştü. Bir süreliğine beklemediğim anılarla, dostluklarla ve dönüp baktığımda hep hatırlayacağım anlarla dolu küçük bir dünyaya dönüştü. 🤍
