If you want to photograph the Mesa Arch at sunrise, you better go early. We arrived at the Mesa Arch parking lot and took the last spot at 6:15 a.m. Once we hiked the trail to Mesa Arch we saw the window of the arch was full of photographers waiting on sunrise. We still managed to squeeze our way in and got a couple good photos for you to enjoy.

After visiting Mesa Arch we traveled the main road through Canyonlands National Park to the Grand View Overlook to find the view was not so grand. The fires on the west coast had produced smoke that was filling the air and leaving us with haze in the air. Making photographing Canyonlands National Park a challenge. Video was even harder.
