Trini style chicken pelau. A staple in Trinidad and Tobago, this dish is quick, easy, and affordable. Only thing missing is a slice of avocado but you can add that when you try the recipe.
Ingredients:
Seasoned chicken
2 cups of rice
1 can of peas and carrots
Vegetable Oil (optional)
Sugar
2 Maggi cubes
Black pepper
1 pack of coconut milk
1 pot spoon of Roucou/ Flavor pot with salt to your liking
