Is there a place for government regulation to mitigate the harmful effects of misinformation? Over the past year, the EU Commission’s Digital Services Act, and the Online Safety Bill in the UK have provided some possible regulatory roadmaps. This distinguished panel will explore the current regulatory landscape in the context of online information, consider the impact of policy decisions, and talk about the wealth of draft bills percolating in the US, both at the local and national level.
