Next, we encountered The Passage Monument, dedicated to "The Passerby," a powerful symbol honoring everyday people and their resilience through difficult times.

We continued to the lively Market Square, or Rynek, home to the impressive Gothic-style Town Hall—one of Poland’s best-preserved historic buildings—and the statue of Polish poet Aleksander Fredro. Nearby, the modern Zdrój Fountain added a refreshing contrast with its glass panels, perfect for a quick photo!

After strolling by the scenic Odra River and visiting Wrocław University Square, known for its beautiful architecture, we ended our day with a delicious dinner at Bernard, a Czech restaurant in the Market Square. We enjoyed a mouthwatering roast duck with potatoes, fresh salad, and cranberries, followed by a traditional goulash. For dessert, we savored decadent chocolate and caramel cakes.
