They finally did it… Maikel, Arjan & Chuck started a podcast!
In this episode the three have a lively discussion about the various Heavy Metal albums released in 1986 - what a vintage year it was! In the wake of the passing of Rob “Spinal Tap” Reiner, they also ask: “what are the greatest metal films ever made?” The boys also discuss the importance of branding in music, and how Iron Maiden nailed it, whereas a great deal of other bands didn’t (as much). The episode finishes with Maikel reliving his epic 16-hour drive to L.A. to renew his Dutch passport – listening to KK’s Priest and Amyl & The Nitrates all the way!
Maikel, Arjan & Chuck are all originally from Europe. Maikel and Arjan from the Netherlands and Chuck from the UK. They all now reside in Phoenix, Denver and Los Angeles respectively. It's louder across the pond!
