This anvil had been sitting outside for years but luckily it was standing upright so the only place for water to sit was on the hardened surface and since it's so hardened only a tiny layer of rust had been formed but no serious corrosion. I had to fill up some grooves using Flux-Cored MIG wire for maximum strength but I tried to hold on to the character inside so I kept the rough overall look.
I'm very happy with the results and I can't wait to smash on it for the next decades!
