Friedrich Burgmüller (1806–1874) was a German pianist and composer best known for his pedagogical piano works. His 25 Études faciles et progressives, Op. 100 (25 Easy and Progressive Studies), remains one of the most widely studied collections for early-intermediate pianists. Though written as technical studies, these pieces are lyrical, expressive, and engaging for developing musicians.
This performance is dedicated to my dear students who are learning these pieces.
