In this quick tech how-to video, I’m going to show you how to check your voter registration status, voting polling location, district information, and more.

To get started, open a web browser like Google Chrome.

From the homepage, do a simple search of voter registration.

If you're using Chrome, Google will include a quick shortcut here at the top where you can confirm your State, and then select Check Registration Status.

It will also provide more info like election day, registration deadlines, absentee deadlines, early voting info, and more.

You can also scroll down and select a website like Vote.gov.

Once on this website, you can select your state, and click Find Out How To Register.

There’s info here, but we’re looking for the Check Your Voter Registration. Select the hyperlink here and it will take you to your state’s election website.

Mine here is for Illinois. Each state is different, but you can find the voter registration lookup on all of them by looking on the page you land at.

Here on the Illinois page, I just enter my info, finish the last page of info it’s looking for, and then hit submit.

Here you will find if you are registered, your polling location, and more district information.

And that’s how you check your voter registration and get your polling information.
