The maxilla is an important facial bone. Maxilla's function is to provide space to hold our upper teeth and provide support for our face and nose.

▬ 📌 Where is Maxilla located?
Within the skull, the maxilla is superiorly articulating with the nasal, frontal, and lacrimal bones. Laterally, it articulates with the zygomatic bones on both sides. Medially, it articulates with four bones, the ethmoid bone, inferior nasal concha, vomer, and palatine bone.
