Finally gave up on the Holley Terminator EFI and PSI 8.8 top end.
I put a fresh pair of 8.1 cathedral port heads on the 8.8 shortblock. The Dart intake was modified to work with the PSI 00795R 8.8 block. Carb is an out of the box Quick Fuel marine 850. Same Comp Cams XM296HR hydraulic roller cam. Went with Comp 26120 beehive springs @1.880 and 155lbs on the seat. Comp 10 degree retainers and locks. Needed 7.900 and 8.800 pushrods to work with the ARP adjustable rocker studs and Summit stainless roller rockers.
Already starts and runs WAY better than it ever did with the Holley EFI.
