This video features a Red-cheeked Cordon-bleu observed at Eastwood Park.
Native to Sub-Saharan Africa, the Red-cheeked Cordon-bleu is a small passerine finch known for its sky-blue plumage and, in males, a distinctive red cheek patch.
It is not native to Singapore, but has been recorded locally as an introduced species. Encounters like this are uncommon and offer an interesting look at how non-native birds occasionally appear in our urban green spaces.
This video is presented as a quiet field observation, focusing on behaviour and presence rather than narration.
Filmed at Eastwood Park, Singapore
Camera: OM System OM-1
Lens: M.ZUIKO 75–300mm
