If you’re always hard on yourself,
this video isn’t here to fix you.
For a long time, I thought that critical voice in my head
was just “the truth.”
That if I tried harder, became better, or stopped being weak,
it would finally quiet down.
It didn’t.
In this video, I reflect on how that inner voice often forms —
not because we’re broken,
but because at some point, being hard on ourselves felt safer
than being disappointed, rejected, or unseen.
Psychology helped me understand where that voice came from.
But it didn’t really tell me how to live with myself.
So I also share a different perspective I found in the Bible —
not as a rulebook,
but as a quieter place to rest,
especially when you’re tired of proving your worth.
This isn’t a sermon.
It’s just a slow conversation,
from someone who’s still learning,
to anyone who feels worn down by their own thoughts.
